Directing

New York Mills Regional Cultural Center’s Annual Kalevala Puppet Pageant

Almost every year since 2010, Anne has headed up north in August to the small but mighty town of New York Mills, Minnesota.

There she directs the annual Kalevala puppet pageant, teaching stilting and puppetry arts to the townspeople.

The Kalevala is the Finnish epic composed of many stories from the oral tradition.
